LET'S LEARN
about each other

A 1046 Introduction
The 1046 team is made up of more than 30 organizations based all across Sweden. Stay tuned for more information about the initiative, why it's happening, and learn more about the different kinds of people working together on the project.
From Uganda to Spånga
Our first video is about Brandon Sekitto, an Afro-Swede who moved to the suburbs of Stockholm from Uganda at a young age. Brandon is discussing his upbringing, his efforts to integrate, and the different obstacles he faced.
Brandon is also sharing his hopes that people are not viewed as faceless statistics, but rather as people.

Blind is not an identity
Our next video will covers a day in the life of Anna Bergholtz, a renowned Swedish journalist and disabilities activist, who became blind at the age of 24.
We share her story as Anna navigates the different obstacles encountered by blind persons across our country.

A Swedish Lovestory
Our third video tells the story of Greg Fernando, and what brought him from Canada to Sweden as an immigrant.
Greg talks about the different obstacles he faces in Sweden, as well as some solutions to becoming more inclusive as a country.
