About the 1046 Inclusion Initiative
Sweden is now home to more than 10.46 million people — each with a story, a voice, and a place in our shared future. The 1046 Inclusion Initiative is a nationwide effort to celebrate and strengthen that diversity, creating a Sweden where everyone feels a true sense of belonging.

This initiative is for all of us—regardless of age, sex, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, disability, and neurodiversity. It moves beyond traditional boundaries to focus not just on inclusion in the workplace, but in every aspect of daily life.

Through:
-
Powerful short films & personal stories
-
Exhibitions in museums & public spaces
-
Concrete tips from inclusion experts
-
Statistics that capture Swedish diversity
— we’re opening up conversations, challenging assumptions, and making room for every voice in Sweden’s future.

The 1046 Initiative is not just about representation — it's about participation, recognition, and creating a country where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and at home.

Mission
To foster inclusion, equity, and belonging across Sweden by sharing diverse stories and data-driven insights and sparking informed conversations and collective action for a more inclusive society.
Vision
A Sweden where everyone, regardless of background, identity, or ability, feels seen, valued, and included. We envision a society shaped by empathy, empowered by diversity, and united through shared humanity.
